    Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Vancouver is pleased to invite you to the 20th edition of the European Union Film Festival in Vancouver. As a result of the cooperation of local consulates and embassies, the festival will present the most outstanding European cinema creations. The organizers guarantee an exciting journey across Europe without the Jetlag.

    In this edition Poland is presenting a film entitled "Marie Curie: The Courage of Knowledge," which tells the story of the first woman awarded with the Nobel Prize, the excellent Polish chemist Maria Skłodowska-Curie. The screening of the film will be the perfect way to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the birth of Maria Skłodowska-Curie, who was one of the greatest Poles ever.

    Presentation of ,, Marie Curie: The Courage of Knowledge” movie will be held on Friday, November 24 at 8:30 P.M.

    Time of the event: from November 24, 2017 to December 4, 2017
