    Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Vancouver kindly informs that from July 7th 2017, there were multiple wildfires spreading across British Columbia limiting or making it impossible to travel across the province.

    By Sunday July 9th 2017, the number of wildfires grew from 140 up to 220. Wildfire is completely or partly devastating living areas in the province. Inhabitants of multiple parts of Cariboo Regional District,  Thompson-Nicola Regional District, City of Williams Lake, Regional Destrict of Okanagan-Similkameen and Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako received an evacuation order.     Therefore, we strongly advise everyone who is planning to travel across British Columbia, especially through the northern and eastern part of the province, to stay cautious or possibly to change or postpone travelling plans.
