    2017 is the Year of Tadeusz Kosciuszko due to the 200th anniversary of his death and on this occasion we invite you to take part in a competition

    Tadeusz Kosciuszko was a Polish national hero who fought against Poland's oppressors in the late XVIII century. He is also renowned for his role in the American War of Independence as well as for being a ferocious critic of slavery and a promoter of equality and social justice.  In order to commemorate his life and work, we invite you to take part in the International Kosciuszko Bicentenary Competition, organized by Kosciuszko Heritage Inc. (Sydney) and supported by Kosciuszko Mound in Krakow, The Kosciuszko Foundation and The Kosciuszko Foundation Poland. With this international competition the organizers want to pay tribute to Tadeusz Kosciuszko as a Friend of Humanity. The participants can choose between music, fine arts and poetry to commemorate the Polish hational hero.  

    The prizes offered are quite a treat!
